Chris how are your aches, and Dave,

Touch wood. Everything is OK on me at the moment.
Last year i did have some back problems, but after a few physio sessions that has come right, & occasionally I have problems with a knee, but I guess that isn't too bad after 46 years of an active life with sports like Skiing, snowboarding, windsurfing, mountainbiking & occasional tennis.
I used to play squash, but that is what caused the knee problem so i stopped.

See? Talking helps. :D

And yeah there are a few of us around here with knackered bits so we can sympathise.

I like 11 though. Whalers suck the big one. Food eskimo whalers ok, "research" whalers NOT ok.

5. Stilts.

Cheers, Shane.

Agreed, just as well he's not a horse:rolleyes:

I've also been quite lucky, nothing serious or long term injury/illness that will haunt me (other than smoking!), play a lot of squash as well but never suffered anything worse than a twisted ankle. Being active in my job could well have something to do with it.

Anyway, Lance, how old are you? are you on a waiting list? any other remedy?

I remember working as a kiwi fruit picker in TePuke one year with a really short guy. I can't remember if he was a dwarf, or it was another problem. I think his name was Brent. Anyway he had boots with huge cork soles that where about 30 cm high so he could reach te fruit. Maybe you need one of those!

Chris how are your aches, and Dave,

The creaky neck thing from the other day soon went as I got spazzed on painkillers, you tend to slowly stretch it out during the day don't you? All in, probably going better than Chris's neck at the moment! ;)

Cheers, Dave.

And, on the other hand, my son who lives in Levin told me how impressed he was when he went in to pay his rates bill and your pictures were on show at the council place.

He has seen your pictures in a few other places around town, too.

Well done.

Argh.

Dave, make sure you back those puppies up several times and get a copy or two offsite.

Hey, any word on the job yet?

Cheers, Shane.

Oh yeah and Kirst, big cars only chew the fuel badly (a) in town or (b) if you put your foot up it. I think I returned about 9l / 100km going to Kaikoura and back. May have been even better than that. (It gets 15 - 16l / 100k around town to put it into perspective). 4.0 Falcon ...

ooh what year?
mine got me from shore to wellington on one fill (thats over 800kms on 68L) and still had about 80kms gas left in the tank... i know cos thats how far i drove before refilling there :D

it goes up over 10km/L on trips but does 7.3-8.5 around town :( - about 100km/11L ($20 currently)

Had to laugh, because after typing that I took my favourite photo magazine with me and went for a crap. (I can share more details if anyone in interested) Anyway I opened it up and there was a big article on how to create HDRI panos! The top of a 2 page spread was a 360 degree 48 photo HDRI Pano of a city centre & it looked horrible!

are you sure you didnt get any on your mag

um yea I don't drink. the last time I had a beer would have been sometime in the 90's

i have prolly only ever drunk about 2 x 6-packs or less worth of various kinds of beer/ale ever (not all at once!), and no wine or spirits (blergh)
and i never smoked either
dont like coffee, rarely drink tea...

so why do i never have cash? cos i have cameras... :o
