private sale from jerrylee on TM - i saved his email address from trades past
transcend are my favourite brand of cf - reliable, cheap as anything and can't tell the difference between them and my (muchmore expensive) sandisk ultra II one

scandisk ultra 2's on special at photo and video... 2x 4gb for $150, i stocked up last week...

i'm with AMI too and they SUGGESTED it when i rang up to insure progear's 70-200mm loaner...

call them again and dont take no for an answer

I am with AMI too and they told me to list everything I have, and to let them know each time I get new gear - so I do, and it's all listed on my policy :)

hi... dammit I didnt get the job at Sky TV :( it was me and someone else. And they picked the other person based on having experience in a similar role. Gosh the job market is so competitive. I kind of wish I didnt go Uni and did a building apprenticeship or something in trades. At least I would be working.

Im just so sick of job interview after interview and so on... I have got more opportunity's coming up. But after so many interviews and rejections im just beginning to wear thin at the moment. Makes me wonder why its so damn hard to just start a job.

Yeah I know its not photography thread. But this is in general chat now. Just stressed out. Its hard to pick yourself up after two long interviews knowing that your close and then being rejected. Its happened to me three times now with top jobs.

Of course complaining about it is not the best option. So ill just keep trying. The way I have looked at it is, that I have been rejected for these jobs for a reason. And perhaps the perfect job is coming up. I guess im just weary and a little bit envious, jealous that other graduates have already secured roles. And here I am still the same old. I just feel that these industries only look for experience. But not passion...
