Canon Servicing seems to have improved:

Canon 20D in 11 Feb, back 18th!

"dismantled to replace release switch, shutter, adjusted exposure, cleaned sensor, reassembled and checked all functions" and only $187.

Well done, Canon.

They replaced a Shutter for less than $200? very well done...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)

Staff used to think if I gave them a performance review they'd get an pay increase. However, somewhere else I worked we had a performance review and got a pay increase. Of course it was coincidental that happened. Yeah right! I told them if it wasn't linked to pay, have the review after the increase.

When we were taken over by a private company, they won the tender because they refused to pay an annual increase for 3 years. That sucked. We had to strike to get what should happen automatically. (Wouldn't have had to strike if the management had been on our side...b*****ds, out for themselves. I've got my huge pay increase and bonuses, sod you lot.) Not that I'm bitter or anything.. Over here I get more on the bottom rung than I did at the top in NZ. However, job satisfaction (if there is such a thing) is my primary target.

Does anyone have a copy of Vista Business? I'm trying to do a reinstall but the DVD is cacked. Not paying Micro$oft for a replacement.
