Was at the craft store and decided to make a better holder for my betterbounce card.
Materials cost ~$6 and makes 4 bands but if I used regular velcro it would cost about $2 for 6 bands!
I use the same band for both cards since they are removable. Also by using elastic instead of a rubber band, you can easily rotate the bounce card around to a different side of the flash.

Materials needed:
1" x 8.5" long Elastic band
1" x 3/4" strip of Velcro

1. You can use any brand Elastic band. I found that 1" was wide enough for the flash, but you can use up to 1 & 1/2" but I wouldn't go larger than that. I got a Stretchrite Non Roll Elastic 1" x 1 yard roll for $1.20 at BenFranklins Crafts Store.

Cut to 8.5" length.

2. Take 3/4" velcro and cut them off a 1" strip.

3. Attach it to the ends of the elastic. Attach it vertically so that it goes across the 1" width of the elastic. And don't forget to put it on opposite sides so that you can attach the ends.

I got some Heat-Activated Adhesive Velcro 2/3" x 24" from BenFranklins Crafts Store for $4.50. It's a little more expensive but it was easy to attach. Just Iron it on and the adhesive will set after cooling.

Of course you can use a regular roll that cost next to nothing and just sew it on.

CHEAP, SIMPLE and WORKS GREAT!! It works on my betterbounce card and DIY diffuser!!

It all started as a hobby with a Rebel XT & KIT lens. $5K worth of equipment & $0 of income later, all I have to show for it is a harddrive full of pictures and priceless memories!! Yeah it's still worth it :)

:D I see that you sewed your on! Look great. I was thinking of doing that too but I figure I better with the iron than a needle so I took the self adhesive route.

Lol, I wish I could take the credit but my Mum is a dressmaker & she did all the sewing. :D
