Purchase through Amazon?

I was considering purchasing a lens through Amazon.com, and the lens would ship from Adorama. I have never used Amazon.com and was wondering if this is a good and safe way to purchase a lens.?

If the lens ships from Adorama is the guarantee through Adorama or Amazon?

Adorama would take care of everything. Amazon is just a third party like ebay is a third party. Amazon is a great place to buy things from though, and if they offer the lens also, it will ship for free. Just something to watch for.
