i have the 24-135 took about 8-10 shots with this today(in home) but still while its NEW i would like your opinion. which one would you have as your MAIN walk around lens and why (i plan to have macro lens and zoom lens eventually so LONG end performance(200-250mm not killer for me)

if someone has both or all 3, could they take similar shots and post?

thanx guys :)

Of the three listed, I'd stick with the 18-200 OS. The 24-135 isn't wide enough for a crop camera and the 18-250 lacks OS. Plus, the 18-200 is optically very, very good for a super zoom.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Agreed. Of those I'd take the 18-200OS.

The 18-125 OS was announced at the PMA so is on the verge of release. If the 18-200 OS was anything to go byit should have better optics. If it has and the focus is improved this should be a big hit as it's a great one lens solution on a crop camera and doesn't compromise as much as the 18-200.

Technical perfection is only ever important if it improves the asthetic. It is not the precursor to beauty. Not in art..not in music and not in photography!

The 18-200 OS is a great zoom, sharper than the 28-135 I used to own.

I've had it for about four days and love it's versatility.

I also own the 70-200f/4 IS and the 17-55f/2.8 IS.
