I've never been to a ballet before, so I didn't know what to expect. It was a fantastic experience. I shot the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona on Saturday night and the Hermitage Ballet from St. Petersburg , Russia on Sunday--quite a cultural difference.

The pictures are beautifully clear, and the skintones wonderful. Everything about them is great... except... the dress should surely be brilliant white, shouldn't it? It looks rather grey...

Maybe that's just the way it really was. But the shots are first-class - bright, sharp and lovely colours.

regards,
/alan

Alan, you're probably right (my first ballet). Thanks for the tip. I didn't pp these photos, but I'll use your suggestion when I do.
