So I finally got the new 40D. Took me several mths. But I can already tell this is worth the money I.....I mean my husband shelled out. So when I got home thought I would test it out...on of course my daughter. I could prob. have done better with the editing but I don't have time for that. Let me know if you like them.

awww. she is so cute... The white balance seems to be a little on the cool side the 1st shot but it could also be my monitor... Have fun with your new camera. I am in the process of getting some new lenses.. I hope to get them in a few months.. Hoping and praying.. Thanks for sharing.. She is a cutie.. I love the hat and scarf..

Oooo! The 40D...nice! I'll be kicking it with the 30D for the foreseeable future!

Haha on #1...I thought the same thing before I even read your caption!

#2 is classic, and #3, how funny is that? I think my Anna would have had it in her mouth before I could have clicked the shutter!

Nice work!

Cheers,

Mike

#1 I like. Colors in the photo and the expression are great.
#2 looks a tad soft/oof.

I think they all would look better w/o the neon border.

Yes I believe you are right about the white balance. It was late LATE afternoon. THe sun had already set. I am going to try to get her out side tommorow in the sunlight. I have a shoot in the afternoon so it might take me a day or two..........I hope you get those lenses. I took me several mths just looking on the net for the best deal on the 40D. I figured the kit lens is already an awsome lens. So I will stick with this one for a while.
