I know it's a basic site and incomplete, but how does my site look?

Wow, that is so much better! Good job. If your going to make white lines to seperate the links (which I would not suggest, white just stands out a bit too much, maybe make white with a lower opacity or something) then make the lines consistently the same. I'm not sure if they are meant to be there, but you do want to have consistency throughout.

I'd work on the banner a bit, try to spruce that up, and also I would change the links font (home,portfolio) to something else - I like all caps century gothic, arial, verdana, etc. Having it times new roman just makes it too similar to the body text directly to the right, especially since it is a similar size.

Other than that its lookin pretty good.

That is a *lot* better

I would still eliminate the beveled border and just keep it one color, but your off to a good start, now time to start adding content!

Looking forward to seeing more
