We have 1/2 inch of ice all over the place. I just caught these with my 85 1.8 about an hour ago. Still not melted yet.

I hope everyone is safe and warm. My friend spent 5 hours on I-95 yesterday coming to VA from MD. A trip that usually takes her 1 1/2 hours. She got home safe. Take care today!

We got some of that ice yesterday too. These were taken with the end of my lens stuck out the patio door... it was horrible outside!

Becca, nice shots. It was cold and awful, and I watched it all melt by noon. But the water it left behind was even worse.

When the sun finally hits that trapped leaf, it often melts in the shape of the leaf !

The leaf absorbed the sunlight and heats up the ice around it. :)

Nice snow scene. We haven't had good snow yet. I'm hoping for 6-12 inches before March. Still, ice is pretty, just scary to drive or walk on.
