For all those wanting to buy go out now and get it. Firmware 1.0.5 fixed all the bugs and this picture will show those who say it can't focus properly should go back to school, because the only thing this camera is is awsome

One of seven pictures taken today at lunch time.

Did the firmware update address any focusing problems? I thought it was about lock up and CF cards.

I haven't updated my 20D to 1.05 but my preliminary tests show that the 20D is a much, much better focusing camera than any of my 3-10D's. This seems to be a big improvement over the 10D and the 10D's are pretty nice cameras too. My 70-200 F4 L is finally focussing like the lens everyone raves about.

Focusing problems?
That is the first I ever heard of such a thing on the 20D!
The focusing is absolutely superb on this camera...much better than the 10D and 300D.
If anybody is having focusing problems, it either a faulty camera, faulty lens, or faulty user.

A Mallard is a male duck.

The firmware issue was not only a lock up problem with the lens incompatability but it effected the focus with some Canon lenses and with sigma lenses. the firmware made the communication between the two work properly and thus cleared yp my focusing problems I had with my Sigmas.

And Drislley I read a post you replied to as to a focus problem with the 20 D unless you like to push buttons.

IN any event there was discussion about the 20 D not foucusing and I posted to those who want to buy but because of the post might hesitate.
