x2... If only someone could hack the firmware to allow this.

If some uber nerd did by chance manage to do this, I'd probably go buy another one so I could keep shooting with the classic for years to come, incase one died.

I can't believe someone hacked the 10D, but noone has done the 1D yet

Both these shots were taken with my EOS1D Classic in AV Mode & Sigma 400mm f5.6 at f8. The Cart was taken at 250th/sec at 800ASA. The Motorcycle (a Kawaski GPZ750 in the "Early Stocks" Class for old Air Cooled & Twin Shock Bikes) was taken at 160th/sec at 400ASA.

Because its not that easy..You might be able to get a certain internet group to do it for you, if you give them donations. I think I saw a thread about that

I understand that it's not easy... I just find it odd that someone took the time to do the 10D, but noone has thought to do the 1D

What kind of hack is there for the 10d? I remember the XTI I had I did the ISO hack. That was neat.

My bad, it was a hack for the 300D that gave it all the functions of the 10D. (flash exposure compensation, mirror lock up, ISO 3200 speed setting, Raw+Jpg, set AIServo/Oneshot, etc)
