It's not, the 1D is a 1.3 the 1Ds is a full frame though

Hey guys...

i think my charger died,...the nc-e3 just died the last days and i also received a charger called CD-BCNPE3.
It has two led´s and after it´s selftest it immediatly jumps into standbymode...
any idea?!

That means it is draining the battery then recharging (better battery life)

So does it go orange for a while? If so then drainng the battery it usually takes a long time. Then it will change to red and that means its charging

My charger, the cd something travelcharger only has Red and greeen light.

If you want you can search bhphotovideo for the canon dual charger. That charger is really good

Just got a 1D today for $600CDN w/ only 4500 actuations! I'm stoked. I recently moved up to 5D after having used a 20D and 30D but have never held/shot a 1D body. Wow. 4.2MP for me isn't even a limiting factor, the pictures at full size are wickedly vivid and sharp.

What an awesome camera.

Just thought I'd share.

P.S. I hate the menu though.

No it´s not canon...BH only has a 1D MkIII ac/dc-adapter.
No Charger.
I dont care about quality right now. i need power, is it possible to charge the batterie on a different way?!

here is the all-clear from me...
i opened the charger( thats my business...electrics and server administration) and i found that the wire connection slipped of the connection shoe...i pushed it back in...

AND IT WORKS :D

Wonderfull Picture. I had my first try with an australian sheppard of a friend, this dog was running like crazy and i only had my nifty on it. I´m amazed of my 1D...i love this cam so much, i´ll never sell it :D
