I really love my M10. I'm using the markins clamp though. It works fine, but it's the speediest thing around. It's got a fairly fine pitch tightening know which is part of the problem.

The ballhead itself though is great, holds high loads, very smooth, and great tension control.

Argyle: Cooked like a recipe that was easy to follow. Thanks to you - I now have a tripod with Markins M10 and RRS quick release clamp mounted and loctite. All seems really tight.
Now the panorama fun begins.
