Is anyone having trouble with its Canon G3 Remote Control?
Mine no longer works 
I obviously changed the battery... I can see that the remote emits
some light signal but cant make my G3 to response to it.
It did work fine before...
Help !

tamadite Hatchling 2 posts Joined May 2007 More info | I changed the battery of the remote and PROBLEM SOLVED! The most misleading point was to see the diode emitting light as if everything was Ok but it was not! The battery was too weak.

For a while, the generic seemed to have better performance but I eventually gave up on it as well. Canon appears to have dropped the wireless remote (none available for my G9 anyway) so I assume that there were fundamental problems. Gordon
