I have taken some good and even great shots with this wonderful camera. I notice that the printing resolution was only 180 dpi on all my shots. Can this be changed to a higher printing resolution? Or do I not worry about this? Thank you for your time.

Jeremy

It's generally irrelevant. If you specify a 4x6" print, all the pixels will be used (up to the limits of whatever device you're printing with) even if you're set to 15 dpi.

Personally, with this 8MP camera, I used the "L" & "Superfine", & "Vivid" settings for each shot.

For WB, if outdoors, will be set to "Cloudy", not AWB (the camera seems to have a mind of it's own on this topic)....

I print 4 x 6 for my collections by the hundreds each month. It is inexpensive to print them in Hong Kong (9 cents US per print) and easier to show them to my folks (in their late 70s)

Memory card & Hard disk isn't that expensive for plenty of large files.....
