Aperture 1.5.x does not benefit from 10.5.2 RAW improvements

Interesting. If you have a recent camera (1Ds3, etc.) and you got the RAW support in the recent Mac OS X 10.5.2 update... It still won't help you if you use Aperture 1.5. You'll need to upgrade to Aperture 2.0, a paid upgrade.

An upgrade from a 1.5 to a 2.0 is 99.99% paid upgrade from any developer.
As a 1.5 user as I am I will be upgrading because at ALL accounts and reviews in every sense shows this to be a needed upgrade.

Absolutely. Believe me I go through it, but I am learning fast that these upgrades (paid and required) are the norm these days.

Heck, I can't run CS2 under Leopard! so was forced to spend on CS3 upgrade :(
