I haven't been able to post in the G&N sub-forum, but just wanted to take the opportunity to say that you have a very beautiful wife - clothed or otherwise! To me what makes every photo of her fascinating is that her eyes are just incredibly mesmerising - they are so amazing one feels that you could just fall right into them they are so spectacular...
I hope that you love your lense. I just bought the 2.8 IS version myself for portraiture and combined with a new 50mm 1.4 prime I'm having a whale of a time - so I hope you will too.
