The colors on the sky in the 1st one are really nice tho. Canon EOS 5D, Battery Grip BG-E4, Canon EF 24-105 1:4 L IS USM, Canon Speedlite 430 EX, and a very old but trusty Tripod

Thanks for the comments. Jdizzle, I agree about the shadows, although that's how I remember the actual light. So, in a way I don't mind the darkness. I need to work on my PP a bit as well.
