Did he possibly change a setting? I tried another card and new batteries, same thing. I am pretty new to it, and have relied on him!!(16years old)

Olegis Goldmember  2,073 posts Likes: 2 Joined Apr 2004 Location: Israel More info | You may also check the command dial and see if the camera is in M (manual) setting - your manual exposure settings may be way off, which causes the picture to be black on the screen. Switch the dial to P mode and see what happens. Best wishes,
