Had the good fortune of shooting 12 year old Samantha for the second time last evening. Our first shoot was very stiffish as it was her first time in front of the camera. She kind of busted out a little last night and it made for a very good shoot.

Camera 5D
24-70 f/2.8L USM
+/- 1/160 sec
f/11
ISO 800 ….yes 800, I was almost in tears when I discovered that.

C&C welcome please.

I think they are pretty good shots. she seems a bit uneasy in a few of the shots...but that may just be a 12 year old for ya.

Hey it's cool to see that you have moved indoors! Welcome to the world of the studio. I love how your gel turned the background beautifully, but you seem to have some red spill on 4 and 5.

not a lot of gear, but I have endless amounts of energy!

Like #5 the best. She looks a bit awkward in #1, but I attribute that to the stool. I think those kind of stools are hard for anybody to sit on properly without looking awkward.

Thanks Rachel. When it comes to this indoor stuff I've got more issues than a little spill light here and there...lol This is just like starting over.

We should hook up and compare notes or do some shooting together sometime. I'm starting to collect a lot of studio stuff, so if your ever short something for a shoot just give me a yell.

I like # 2, but the BG in the others are a little wild... IMHO.
