Ok, time to ask the experts.
My wife wants a flash for our 40D.
Question, do I buy the 299 USD 430ex from BestBuy, or do I shell out another 50 bucks and go for the 580 EXII?

Time is of the essence as I can only get the 580 at 350 for the next 18 hours or so.

If it were me the 50 dollar difference wouldn't matter one bit and I would snag up that 580 in a flash (no pun intended).

Yup B&H photo has the 430EX for only $240.
Where did you find a 580EX II for $350? Because I know Bestbuy prices are extremely expensive.

Think that BH has the 580EX for $409 with a $50 rebate right now.

Do you know the code Stephen? I'm ordering one today.
By any chance, is there a code for the 40D or the 70-200 2.8 IS? Also buying today :D

Yes, there is a code for 40D and 70-200mm 2.8L IS
The 70-200mm 2.8L IS is a pretty good deal too. I think the instant rebate is ending tomorrow? so better act fast.

Thanks a lot! Considering I didn't know that the rebates ended today (hopefully included), I owe you a big one!

I'll pull the trigger today.

Thanks also xchupacabrax!
