Wow this is amazing. Who would have thought the accused would come track this down and respond!

Which is why you have to be careful what you write/publish on the internet...

I think several people were lucky here that "Gribs" only turned up armed with some mildly harsh words and not a wedge of court papers for accusers, forum and forum's ISP...

Well for one i'm glad that he did. I've had some time to think about this and i've realised that i've really jumped to conclusions and been OTT with my reaction to seeing similar shots to mine online..
I've had some good advice from everyone on here and i thank you for that..
The next time Grib's is in folkestone i think we should go for a beer and scout some locations :)

Can't lay low on the WWW.

Peace. Go shoot, life's too short to scrap over a photo or two.

I like both the shots, although the light on #1 intrigues me a bit more.

If someone has like 100 images that are almost identical to yours, I would say that could warrant a talking to.. but you know, personally I think there are only so many beautiful locations in the world. That's an amazing location. If I lived near it, I might want to go take some photos there. I wouldn't purposely try to recreate your image/POV, and maybe that's what he did.. but I know that I do keep an eye out for cool local locations that I can use for engagement sessions and things like that..

But all that being said, if I saw someone had tried to copy everything about my photos, a lot of them, yeah, I'd get mad.

I am super cool n' stuff.

But what happens if they took the photos first? :)
