I've just returned from my trip and have been recalibrating my camera. I was very unhappy with the colour results from my "on the road" Lightroom exports.

This little gem popped out at me in my travels and I hope to have some more by tomorrow evening:

Not HDR, simple long exposure with me flashing the bridge manually (handheld) in strategic spots.

people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional
Full frame and some primes.

Very nice indeed! I like how you captured the detail from under the bridge which would have been lost in the shadows. Now where did you use the flash? =)

I was standing on this slab of concrete I jumped a fence to get to. It was a couple yards square. I popped off some low power shots from different angles at very low power, mostly straight up. All light leaves a shadow, but the key is to have just enough to not look like flash.

Fantastic. A nice, and atypical perspective.

I'll have to give manually flashing my scenes a try, clearly nice results are to be had.

Everybody got mixed feelings about the function and the form.
Everybody got to elevate from the norm.

Wear shoes that have good traction under all conditions. Urban photo warfare can have slippery consequences.
