I went down to Stanford/Palo Alto today and took some shots of the Tour. It was really tough as these guys are so fast and zip right pass. This is my 2nd time shooting a cycling race and I tried to do different flavors of shots. But in the end, i just end up doing the same shots. Need more practice!

Here are some of the better ones. Hope you like it!

Nice shots. I was on the inside end of the loop at Stanford, watching them come in before they make the final loop to the finish.

For second-time these are fabulous!! I wish my shots of the Tour de France were as good as this. Great stuff!

i walked over there. but i got there late and all the spaces are taken already. i eventually walked back towards El Camino and there are lots more space over there to shoot. i also found the background less cluttered as well.

I actually used my old high school yearbook to acquire a pass...the tour comes through my home town on stage 4, and I give them images :)

Awesome work! Thanks for sharing! I love those new Rock Racing team kits. They look good while they're on the bikes...but once they're standing they kinda look like ninja turtles. :)

Great color and light. the first four are my favorites. I enjoyed the different point of view used throughout the series.
