Oooh, now I don't know. Darn... I figured an AM2 board might be a little more future-proof, but there's really no such thing these days. That's not to say I couldn't use it though. It takes DDR2 I presume ?

Not true though - Macs are great for people who know a lot about PCs or Unix boxen and are tired of having to fight with what is essentially a tool to get things done. Macs just work - no farting around with them. AND as a bonus they're based on BSD

AM2 would future proof you.... this board takes DDR. I'd probably let it go for $100 incl shipping to you. If you wanted to pick up, I'd let it go for $80... mainly for your trouble. I could probably get the same amount for just the processor, but seeing it's mates rates type thing on POTN then $80-$100 would be fine regardless for mobo and chip.
