Okay, so fill me in. What exactly is the advantage of a Mac over a PC?
To be honest, they're pretty much the same now days. Different OS, yes, but much the same format and both are customizable to the extent that they can be virtually identical in layout etc. Most programs come in Mac and Windows versions, and those that don't you can run using emulators on either OS anyway. That said, i prefer my MacBook to my PC desktop. It's smoother running, gets no viruses (even without any virus protection software), it doesn't have all the annoying prompts that you get every time you try to do anything on a PC ("you look like you're trying to move your mouse cursor - allow or decline?"), and I find it does everything I want without any hassle. There are always going to be fanboy-wars (kinda like Canon v Nikon, I guess!), but I think the reality is really that whichever suits you individually and whichever you personally prefer is the one that's the best.
