I'm going to blow the wages budget for the first month and hopefully the extra people power will bring bookings in to the studio than the next month I'll keep wages under 30% beat the sales budget for the month and bonuses here we come.....

Yeah, it's good, I've picked everything up quiet quickly, and the regional manager loves me and she brought the CEO to highpoint to meet me  so hopefully once I'm in my own studio I can live up to expectatios.....no pressure or anything

Sounds like it's all going well :)

I prefer to not have winters and just an eternal summer.

Bah! No thanks - summer sucks. Now a longer autumn and spring and a nice cold winter, that's the ticket :)

Since I have taken quite a few pictures on the platform and all, I have turned into a terrorist ???:confused:

No, you're still a photographer. :)

DAdeGroot wrote in post #5346495 (external link)
Well it depends on how much ambient you want. If you don't care, shoot at max sync speed (1/200 on most Canons, although some do 1/250). If you want some background, drag the shutter more.

mmm yeah I had managed to do that through trial and error. I thought there was a definitive rule in terms of how to do it, hence my asking.

You can always make yourself warmer in winter but you can only cool yourself down a certain amount during summer. Not to mention the fine, sunny days we're starting to get. So I prefer winter as well. Just not Melbourne winter. ;)

My sentiments exactly. In winter you can put more clothes on, in summer you can be naked and still be too hot. (oh you know what I mean!)

Gee, Greg... not only have you attended your first BCG meeting in almost a year, but you're doing a presentation at the next digital meeting. ;)

True - easy to put on another jumper, but there's only so much you can take off in the way of clothing before it becomes a "problem"

We could live with Melbourne weather tho.

My wife has just booked in a long weekend at Montville in July - our annual trip to a wood fired cottage in the nice, chilly, cold winter. I reckon we end up burning our way thru three trees-worth of chopped timber on the fire!
