Can always dual boot if it doesnt. Or just dual boot anyways. From what ive seen on youtube, it seems to run great on most lappys. Might try it for kicks when i get a new one haha

lol are you really? XP and os x? or just os x?

Yep really truly. I've got it setup to dual boot but haven't booted XP since installing OSX. I have an XP VM using Parallels which works fine for the only thing I use it for (Checkpoint Firewall GUI for my firewall).

Runs very very well :)

I researched the hardware before building the machine, bought it according to what worked well with OSX.

Takes a bit of stuffing around but once it's running it's like being on a real Mac :)

How was installing LR on it? Straight forward or did you grab aperture?

Edit: Im really considering doing that if i get the XPS m1330. Better hardware than the cheapest macbook for a little more money but will still run os x

Hey, that's my Church, well my Cathedral actually :)

What a great bit of processing, a lovely pic!

Took a friend in there for a service b4 Easter, he had never been in there despite having lived here for 8 years. At night the place is very special. He was amazed at how beautiful St John's is.

I actually know the clergy well, I should see if we could get access one night for a photo shot.

I run LR and Aperture (2.0) on it. Both install very easily and work as expected (but a lot faster than I'm used to).

Make sure you check http://osx86project.org/ (external link) for hardware incompatibilities before spending you money.

Yeah, was just doing some reading on a few sites. Seems like pretty limited functionality so far (intermittent audio, dodgy graphics, no sleep mode...)

Might still give it a go when i get an intel based machine though. Just to tinker. ;)
