They are very nice. I picked up a six pack a month or two ago and polished them off quickly. Next time I wanted some I picked up a full cartoon.

Picked something else up today. Nintendo Wii, kids are playing it right now.

Looks bloody delicious! That's a fine looking ham.

In a vaguely related coincidence we're having pork for dinner tonight.

We ate about 1/2 of it.

Lot of reflection off of the ham when I took the shot and there was no flash either.

The pin is not still in the box is it? If I took it out I would've thought I'd throw it in there.
If it is, you could reinsert and take it out all over again just to enjoy the experience ;)

not sure to be honest hahaha :)

Hey Feng, you have no issues with your tripod, do you? Good to use? Solid?

Yeah it's good thanks... though I'll probably upgrade the ballhead sometime this quarter... looking at the RRS ones with the matching L bracket.

I think he's got the 055 mofo model - I can say my 055 xpro is well solid, after some two hours ownership/use!

Yeah, I have the predecessor of the one you have. And I agree, great tripod - very solid.

But I was looking for something that folds up shorter for easier transport on the bike.
Tossing up between the MF4 (the four-section version of the one Feng has) and one of the Gitzo Mountaineers. Just not sure If I like the idea of the ultra-light weight in the Gitzos.

Yeah, the 488's a great head for the money but it's got nothing on the RRSs and the like. And the L-brackets are fantastic.

if you know what mod chips are, you know what it'll do for the Wii ;) hahahah... it'll allow 'backup' games, and makes it region free etc.

I'm sure the MF4's great. I only got the MF3 because i was lazy to undo 4 sections... oh and also, it's just another join which has less stability (if at all). The thing with the ultra light weight Gitzos is you need to have a counterweight if you're in rough conditions. The MF3 I have straps nicely to the hot tub and the barge.... it's not THAT bad. In hindsight, I reckon I should've got the MF4 for the same smaller collapsed size.... considering how little I actually use the tripod.

I liked your markins head too... but i think I'll stick with the RRS ones this time round.

I don't play any consoles. My PS2 is at a friends place and has been almost since I got it.

I was contemplating getting a 360 just to use it as a glorified HTPC. Just can't find if it does 1080p or not though.

Well, it does play HD-DVDs so you would think it would. I like how i can plug it into the network and have it find all the shared drives on the other machines in the house.

Could always get a Gorillapod - got me one of those, too, SLR Zoom model. That'd be OK on the bike.. ;)

Mum bought us a Wii a couple of weeks ago. I had a look in JB Hi-Fi and EB Games to see if there were any good racing games but unfortunately there aren't. I'll try and see if I can find a few second-hand Gamecube games as I believe there's backward compatibility? ???
