I quite like the way he explains things. I have 3 of his books now. Saw that one on the shelf in NJ when I was there a couple of weeks back but decided not to buy it.
He's good if you're learning, but a few have commented on his "I metered off the sky, then repositioned. f/8 at 200mm, 1/250" statements under almost every photo, ie there is not much in the way of techo info provided for advanced photogs.
Having said that I think I've now got 5 or 6 of his books, as I am still learning. Things like going 2/3 stop under when shooting a lot of green, how to stop snow looking grey etc etc are all useful. I've read all the books cover to cover.

Was out on Saturday for some driving adventures with the wife and boys and we accidentally found Morgan & Wacker at the Creek. So of course we went for a wander to check out the BMW side of the street, followed by the Harley side.
Some very chromy-gleaming-expensive goodness there. Could make for an interesting series of images.
