Come on, treat it with the respect it deserves, it's just a lump of wires, metal and plastic :D

Blower for the first pass and if that doesn't shift then think about going further.

I've got a stubborn one on mine, but I only see it at f14 and more, so I've not done a wet clean yet.

Here a less smoothed version. She did already have great skin though.

Hi Paul
I was going to suggest D-D photographics or Camerasdirect but they are grey import so no Canon Warrranty. You could use a print out of their prices to beat down a local store..... Photo continental will sometimes price match.

That's better, it's the added definition on the lower cheeks that makes a difference for me.

Hey Dave, didn't know you had the 28-300 (cool) is that new-ish, what's it like? :)

Nah, that's the ring-in box. I don't have the 28-300, but I have the box because the EOS 50 I bought on eBay ages ago came in it. :)
(made for a short heart flutter when I unwrapped the brown paper covering it, but then realised it wasn't heavy enoigh).

Hmmm, if it wasn't for the local warranty, d-d-photographics.com.au have the 450D and you can pickup from Brisbane (New Farm), but it's grey market, so no Canon warranty on it.

Have you tried PhotoContinental ?

I'm getting a new box tomorrow, all going to plan should be delivered about 10am. Hoping for some fine weather for a lunch time test run.

Not going to say what it is, but will post some samples tomorrow night if I can.

Oh, and it's not a Canon or a Sigma.....

Must admit, did think Noink, but then came to my senses!

DAdeGroot wrote in post #5616948 (external link)
And not to be outdone by box shots... here's one I just threw together. (Couldn't find the 4Gb CF card box, so I threw in another box I have but don't have the contents).

Got all excited then -

yep:D

thought about a Sigma 8 for a bit but preferred the look of the diagonal fishy rather than the circular ones.

nice choice greg. they are tons of fun.

My turn for submitting phototaxes...

Some photos from a roll of Fujichrome Sensia 400-iso slide film, these two being from the BCG Pullenvale shoot. Seeing these makes me miss using the 3000N as my primary body. :(

The second one is a bit dodgy colour-wise. I put it down to the lens I used - Paul's 70-200 for the first one and my 28-80 for the second one... ;)

There's more than those two, I just haven't submitted any others to deviantART yet. :)

My name is Rob.
