Hmmm, if it wasn't for the local warranty, d-d-photographics.com.au have the 450D and you can pickup from Brisbane (New Farm), but it's grey market, so no Canon warranty on it.

Have you tried PhotoContinental ?

PhotoContinental have em in-stock :)

My turn for submitting phototaxes...

Some photos from a roll of Fujichrome Sensia 400-iso slide film, these two being from the BCG Pullenvale shoot. Seeing these makes me miss using the 3000N as my primary body. :(

Nice work Rob :)

More and more so, given all this rain. The BoM reckons we've had 25mm since yesterday morning, but it's still raining heavily here.

Mmmmmm, perhaps another shoot is due then Dave, for those of us that missed out on the summer one ;)

Although looking at my diary the free time is certainly just as bad.

So, assuming the rain subsides to a level suitable to take photos, who's a likely candidate to show up for Sunday sunrise then?

AFAIK There's:

Primmy Ruth
Spammy Sam
D-G Dave
Trumply John
Moy (as in "look at")
Wakky Feng (if the move allows)

Who else?

Aye... Me. I will be there with my rain jacket on and I will bring my wife down too. Where at the KP cliffs are we meeting? bottom, top, hanging off the side?

Creeks definitely flowing, but nothing majorly impressive yet (might be in a day or so if this rain keeps coming).

Top might be easiest to meet, we can always walk down the stairs to the bottom afterwards ?

It will be a miracle if this rain clears for the w/e - the low pressure system is setting in nicely

I suspect that I might be getting my lie in on Sunday morning yet ;-)a

I'm going anyway, if it's wet (and it's likely to be), it's wet. But there's always the chance of it momentarily not being wet and something spectacular happening.

Of course, it's likely just to be grey, wet and cold...

Hmmmmmmm, I'm singing in the rain, just singing in the rain
