Well I got new boots today

So feeling the need to test them out, I wandered down the drive to get the mail, armed with the 70-200 and 1.4x TC and tripod (because you know, there might be something interesting down there).

Since I was at the bottom of the driveway, and equipped (how lucky was that?), I decided to wander a bit further and camp out for some birds.

Alas no

I worked from home today as I had a web seminar at 11am to take part in but I spent an hour looking at the video stream and not getting any audio at all - I'm rather majorly p!ssed off actually

Was hoping to be able to take tomorrow off as a "John" day but someone else has a different opinion on that score

Next time you're down you'll definatley have to visit clarrie hall dam, if you go in through the other end (not the dam wall end) you go through someone's property (they don't mind) and it's stunning, mt warning is the backdrop

Do you know roughly where you were? You're in my old stomping ground there, I know the area pretty well and have been to almost every waterfall, creek, dam and river in the area.

I have no Idea where this dam waterfall is,other than I was heading towards Mt Warning,was on a bend,the waterfall was on edge of road,5-10 meters walk down

Mmmmm, dunno about deep fried, worried about saturated fats, what about a nice white wine jus with some wild berries for colour

Well I'll be... just had a call from a paying customer. I guess advertising does work after all...

Of course, being completely unprepared I don't have a price list....had to make something up on the spot. Must have been ok though as she made a booking

Just a headshot for a CV, but it's something - I suspect I'm woefully undercharging as she didn't blink at the price.
