Or this Sunday 15th - I'm working a night duty, but can be out during the day. Anyone else? Well the 22nd is out for me as I have a model shoot on that day, but the 15th works shayb wrote in post #5707470 Just a recommendation here for ACCURATE INSTRUMENT SERVICING on the north side, who were able to repair my 24-70 in less than half the time that canon said it would take them, and did it under warranty to boot. they also do a same day sensor clean too if you want to get it done professionally And if you're reading this, thanks very much Peter. Ah cool, I've been thinking of getting the door latch on my EOS 50 repaired, might be the go. Dave

Since I was at the bottom of the driveway, and equipped (how lucky was that?), I decided to wander a bit further and camp out for some birds. After a 10-15 minute wait, I was rewarded by a Grey Fantail landing directly in front of me on the fence.

Tony Archer didnt help our cause though, he should have gotten man of the match for QLD... yep...sus...that said, NSW played like a bunch of blind, deaf and dumb 6 year olds imho, made me ashamed to be a proud of being a new south welshman.

I really enjoy taking images of birds, but sadly the blighters seem to run the other way when they see me (feathered kind I'm talking about here). They run away from me too - but I think I've cracked it now - stand off for a while and see where they flutter to, wait until they flutter way, move in close and setup your tripod, etc, get comfortable, now wait (and wait and wait) and eventually they come back and there you have it Dave

There are known issues with sp3 breaking things, badly. I tried a RC upate about 4 months ago and it turned my PC into a p.o.s - that took 10-15 minutes to boot! Removal of aforementioned SP3 fixed the issue. I will not be updating to it, my system is already up to date with patches, so has no need for SP3. -spam- wrote in post #5711415 Id like to take this opportunity to thank microshaft for breaking my computer.
