Just showing John that there was nothing wrong with being a mature age student (technically im one because i didnt go straight to uni after year 12 )

Didn't you know that the first year of Uni is a year off anyway!

Actually, I reckon you'll see more and more nowadays (mature students, like, say, 55 or 60 years old!!) (as opposed to young, like, say, 45 :p) because many jobs today require a degree to enter, whereas a decade or two ago it was just sufficient to get to grade 12.
