Hi,

I have come up with a new technique to create dramatic landscapes, I would love some feedback from you all:-

The technique does not use filters or any PP in photoshop just a straight raw conversion.

Hmm i'm not sure to be honest. It has an almost infrared quality in a way but with more colour. I think you'd need to find which shots this technique suits best. I think of the three shots i like the first one best.

Number #1 is a lovely shot btw

#1 for me too. This technique doesn't really flatter landscape shots, in my opinion.. I like to see the contrast in clouds and detail - these make the image dramatic and poppy to me.

OK maybe I am colour blind!

In B&W I think the images come out very film like.

Workflow was just RAW converted image & PS B&W filter setting all on "0"

What do you think:-

The B/W conversions are a vast improvement...color blindness is certainly a possibility.

Interesting. I like # 3 best. I agree that there is something to the images that lend an IR feeling to them.

#1 Very interesting coloration, the different colors of the grass look like they *almost* belong. I like it the best of the 3.
