Found this one sitting on a fence post by the side of a busy main road, had time to turn the car round, park, grab the camera from the boot, throw a cushion on the roof and shoot away, he / she never batted an eyelid.

Nice work Carlton.
Fence posts are a great place to look for birds like these. Clearly, this bird looks like what we refer to as "hawks" here in the states. Do this species eat carrion, or does it prefer live prey?
