I acquired a 70-200L f/4 from B&H last week and I brought it with me to an NRA High Power Rifle match that I acted as the Range Safety Officer for. Here's a few photos I took while officiating the line.

As a High Power nut I love seeing pics like these. Personally I would also like to see one with the targets in focus, but these are awesome!


Currently in the process of buying a DSLR...

no2 would have been better with more dof so we can see the target

This took place at the West End Gun Club in Upland (near Lytle Creek).

Yes, I agree that the second picture would look better with more DOF. The next time I run the firing line at a match, I'll try it again. I go to at least one match a month, but I'm usually a competitor, and when you're not shooting, you're scoring for the active shooter on your firing point (or pulling in the pits).
