Could anyone comment on PhotoVision dvd series?

I'm curious how technical and helpful are the PhotoVision DVD series (on location/portrait/wedd​ing are the ones I'm interested). If they are anything like the $19 seminar and the free DVD, then I'd pass. For instance, there was no lighting diagram, no explanation of how the lighting was set up and why. You had to guess from the camcorder's perspective, which is none to revealing.

Are those DVD worth the price or was it the same chit-chat about lighting and photographers' random thoughts?
