Here's one reviewer's take (external link) on it (Parallels for XP; Fusion for Vista).

Unfortunately, it's going to be hard finding a useful side-by-side comparison, but I was told by people at an Apple store that Fusion was better. I own it, use it, and have no problems with it, but without actually using Parallels, I can't say if one is any better than the other. I can recommend Fusion without reservation, though.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Parallels tends to get updated fairly regularly, and they listen to customers (they have a decent customer forum there).

I still need to build a system though so that I can run my Zune on the Mac (which Parallels supports in the latest version).

Either really....I've tried both on the iMac at home and they both work wonderfully.

I run WinXP in Fusion with no issues. On my MacBook, Vista is just tolerable using Fusion, but I can spend hours working from home using the XP VM.

I've never tried Parallels, I just went with Fusion because we use other VMWare products at work.
