I've had it with this pano. Hours of processing, stitching, out of memory errors and it's done. Not my best, but the best I could get with the software of today and the images that I took.

I'll revisit these RAW files later on in life I hope and see if I can squeeze some more from them.

For now here we go:

Great shot. I know where you took the shot. I thought about doing a night time shot there. But.......is kind of cold......:)

That's amazing! Not just stringing it, but the whole thing is excellent.

My sisters live in Brooklyn and if you stick your head out the window of the 5th floor apartment, you can see the Verrazano Bridge. :)

Jeez, Jason, I can't imagine what else you can do to this pic. I think it's awesome -- even for your already incredible portfolio. As for waiting an hour in frigid weather for the shot, I recently read an interview with a pro wildlife photog who was asked what he sees as his biggest deficiency. His answer was, "I'm too impatient. If I can't get the shot in nine hours, I'm outta there!"

No-Excuses Kit: 1Ds Mk III, 1D Mk IV, 60D (IR Only). Lenses (all Canon): 16-35m f/2.8 L, 24-70mm f/2.8 L, 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS, 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS, 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS, 85 mm f/1.2 L MkII, 100mm f/2.8 macro, MP-E 65mm f/2.8 macro, 15mm f/2.8 fisheye. Support : Gitzo 3541L + RRS BH-55 LR Ballhead.

Yikes, that is awesome! It reminds me of a matte painting for a movie backdrop. Very well done.

Nice pano Jason! The large jpeg version has so much detail. Did you ever try Panorama Maker Pro?
