I've seen many pros use them for a backup camera, it's cheap and it produces great images in case of emergences.

It's VERY capable and image quality is great. NO hesitation in using it, even with the mark III on my shoulder. -Lloyd

sandpiper Cream of the Crop More info | Well, I bought a 5D about two years ago. However, my 20D still gets exercised regularly as it is still my first choice for bird photography (because it has morer 'reach') and action work when I need a faster frame rate. The 5D is my first choice for everything else though.

Feb 21, 2008 10:30 | #39 I shoot with a 20 but compared to the other cameras ive played with recently it doesn't seem to render colors as well, the auto white balance seems very sub par. I'm also bored of it and want something new, i'm thinking get a used 1d2, wait for a 5d replacement or a D300 competitor, or just do the unspeakable and buy a noink D300 till canon puts something out that tickles meh fancy. TriqueDaddi Goldmember More info | Feb 21, 2008 11:34 | #40 I still using a 20D and am very satisfied. The high ISO noise levels are very good.It is a good thing because it will be a while before I can upgrade. A computer comes first. I would enjoy the greater flexibilty of the ISO stops and definately benifit from the larger LCD since I am 40 something!
