Deals that are too good to be true are usually to good to be true. This thread is now locked so if you want to bypass the needless arguing you can read the first post and then his conclusion on the last.

Definitely deserves to be in here. It even beats texting rude stuff to your missus when you're $&!% faced, just to realise you sent it to your mother.

Jeebers, the questions that raised . . . . . .

My little contribution. Shooting a football game this weekend (1st JV game). I have the pre focus button on the lens (500 f4) set to on so now the camera won't track the action in Ai Servo. Then I realized I shot most of the game with the SS set at 5000 and 8000 in M mode and auto ISO was kicking in at up to 12800 - it was a day game. Now trying to salvage some of the images.

Update: Well the high ISO shots turned out nicely - thanks to the 1D4's great high ISO capabilities.

^ at least you didn't turn up to your son's 5th birthday party recently armed only with an Infrared modified 1D Mk II (and the "normal" 1D Mk III sitting some miles away at home)

During my Kodachrome Project, drove 100 miles with the film gear out to a cow pasture to catch the maple trees in their fall colors, shot a few exposures with the KR36, did some black and white on my EOS 650, a few other film rigs, went to pull out the gripped 400d, damn batteries are still sitting at home on the charger. derp.
