Today, I was a contracted photographer for the Hartford Marathon... I had to park 5 miles away (due to road closures) and walk to the finish line. I left my 'media' pass in my car and didn't notice until I walked the entire 5 miles. I had to run back and then run back. So, I almost ran an entire half-marathon just to photograph the full marathon... ughhhhhh

I'd like to nominate the OP on this thread:

I'm so Miserable

He couldn't figure out why his hockey photos were coming out underexposed. He said in his OP that he was shooting his 60D at iso6400, f2.8, and only managing 1/30s shutter speed.

After he finally posted some of his images, the EXIF showed that he shot all his photos at f20-f22!
And to think, he was contemplating buying a canon 100-400 just because his previous photos came out bad!
LOL, too funny.

...Would stacking a 2x+1.3x+my 300 f/2.8 lens give me really good astro photos or would this combo only be used for the moon? If so, how close to the moon can I get with that?...

Could even get a double play with the TF as well.

I was shooting an event at a local bar, unpack all my equipment. NO FLASH UNITS. **** **** **** **** **** **** ****r ****......band is going on in 5 min. Run to my car, dig through my mountains of tools in the trunk....found an old 300ez flash. Loaded it with batteries, it turns on and fires with my 5D. Disaster averted.

Here's one from the other day.

I was scheduled to shoot a basketball game and I went to the wrong gym. All day I just knew it was a home game. I even looked up the schedule on Maxprep. I hung around outside the wrong gym waiting for the one game to end and come find out it was the varsity girl basketball team - not the boys. A police officer told me that the game was an away game. So, I had to hustle up to correct gym for the game - got there and did not have my pass (get in free pass) or my drivers license (left all id and money at work), so I had to pay to shoot the game - fortunately I had $5 to get into the game.

Just one of those days I guess
