I disagree Will...I loved the crisp colours and the clarity of the originals. The greenish cast doesn't do a lot for me...or her.
I think your work is good enough not to need such drastic treatment to stand out. (That is a compliment, by the way....not a criticism!):D

It's a rainy Wednesday here...it must be awful being so late!:)

I suspect you are technically correct, Gail, though many will say that the out of focus areas of your typical DOF picture, as you call it, are "bokeh". My understanding is that bokeh refers more to the way a lens treats out of focus objects that can be defined by the shape of the diaphram or lens opening...but that could be just because this is a wet Wednesday!
