I've shot a whole shoot with EC set at +1 :-/ thank goodness for RAW, I was able to recover most of them...

And Lisa, didn't you do a whole photoshoot in ISO3200/f22 once? :-D

The of EC and off ISO settings are so common I think everyone has done this once or twice.

I used to have the a sticky label with the word letters "ISO" stuck to my 10D's flash cover after doing the 1600 ISO in broad day light a number fo times.

LOL great stories guys

So, Chief, you and your brother are a lot alike huh?

Actually, Permy, we are nothing alike. I'd tell you more, but right now I'm busy looking for a tripod I misplaced.

"NO CF CARD" = epic fail every time. Any by every time, I mean the 3 times I've done it in the last week because my work's computer has a nifty card reader slot on it (I use USB cord on my desktop) and I forget I've left it in there.

I was looking for my cell phone when my hubby ask why I sounded preoccupied. I told him I was looking for my cell phone, there was silence for a second and then he said your talking to me on it. Some days my brain goes on a vacation and leaves me stranded.

Some of you may have heard of the Mach Loop - A place in Wales where you can photography low and fast RAF jets from above, like this:

IMAGE: http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p204/bennybh/4.jpg

Well, It can take anything up to 45mins to get to the top of the mountain, and it's pretty tiring. So, before I left home, I put my 3 spare batteries, wide angle and CF cards in the bag, attached my telephoto to the 10D. Lunch went in on the top. After arriving at the foot of the hill I thought 'that looks pretty tiring, I'll just hold the camera', therefore leaving my spare batteries, cards and lunch in the car at the bottom of the hill.

Bloody fantastic.

Apparently you need to look in the fridge - that seems to be where all missing items end up! ;)

I do that all the time! I will be leaving the house while talking to someone on my cell phone, and I grab my keys, and start frantically looking for my phone. It usually takes me a while to figure it out.

...On the fridge thing... I've caught myself putting the cereal back in the fridge, and the milk back in the pantry...

One of my mother's favorite stories!

"Bill. I opened the fridge and found your cereal. Right away I knew the milk was in the pantry; so i checked. Yep! There's the milk."

I was working at a construction job where the report time was 5:30am. She found the cereal and milk some time after 6. Hey. Leave me alone. I'm not really awake yet.
