my first barn owl perch shot

well my luck is still strong i cant beleive the images im getting in 2008 and this is another first.
although ive had them flying ive never been able to get close for a post shot . it was still some distance away so probably cropped it to deaf but im still happy .

insert is f/f and notice the angle of the perch so the cropped sorted that out.

Nice catch Jason. I reckon if you resize the crop up a bit with photoshop to interpolate the pixels it'll still give a nice 8x10" print.

like to see the original, background textures may make it a nice photo even with the main subject quite small.

Considering the direction of the light and latge crop, I think this came out verynicely. I know I would be hppy with it.

thanks every appreciate the comments.

lighting on this was a pain as the sun was so milky and there was a bit of mist left over from yet another foggy day.

i think if i play around with the crop to see if i can get it any sharper.
