USA Warranty

Ok I just got my March copy of Popular Photography and under the letters seen something that I thought may be worth posting and I will quote it as it is written

...Strike again!
A scam I've run into is "USA warranty." It's often a U.S.-based third-party company that issues the warranty, not the authorized U.S. distributor. Technically, thats correct, but it's misleading.

So beware of ebayers and other online company's offering U.S. warranty make sure its a manufacture warranty

That's pretty low. You might as well have no warranty at all. I wouldn't trust to send my gear to them. Just another reason to buy from the big boys (B&H)!
