Just some impressions from a couple of weeks ago.
All were taken from the spectator areas and from the stands on race day. The venue was Eastern Creek, Sydney.

Nice shots, I really like the third pic and also the pic with the models, great job. Also how did you get such great shots in the rain? Did you use a bag for the camera?

What lens did you use for these shots? I hate goign to the track when it rains, because nobody pushes it to the limits on a wet track. Then again I just go to motorcycle races and they have a reason not to push it. Hurts a little more if they wreck.

Thanks very much for the comments.
Camera was a 40D and the lens was a Tokina 80-400, usually on a monopd. I did use a plastic shopping bag over the camera with a hole in the bottom for the lens using a couple of rubber bands to hold it. I have since purchased a proper camera cover but havn't used it yet. The stands were realtively dry.

#2 had my brain in knots for a while, 'till I worked out where you were standing.

A good set.
